Plagiarism and How It Affects Cartoonist or Manga Artists

Plagiarism and How It Affects Cartoonists / Manga Artist

Plagiarisms. Do you know about plagiarism?
Plagiarism is one of the most annoying things in this world. Most people hate that thing. Because plagiarism, means copy someone else’s work and then lying about it. Or you can say, ‘Stealing’ Other People’s Work.
Plagiarism can be done by turning someone else’s ideas, works and other things.

Plagiarism can happen to anybody in this world, even a Cartoonists or Manga Artist. Creating a cartoon is not an easy thing. They need a lot of time to think about the characters and storyline. And, those things are still the basic of creating a cartoon or manga. More time are needed to draw, develop, and make them into a book or a movie. In a creation of a cartoon, the creator usually just make a cartoon or manga as their hobby, but some of them also sell and work in a cartoon or manga publisher company. So they get income from cartoon they create by selling the copyright or get into a company that will sell their work legally

And how if somebody steal their work?
After those hard work, if somebody steal the cartoon or manga and claim if it is their work, the real creator can easily report it or challenge them.

But, How if The Plagiarism Action Still Continue?
Actually, we should not copy other people’s work. Because, it will make them feel disappointed, angry , and also can make their spirit to write more new cartoon or manga reduced. If this happen, the creator may not create or publish new cartoon or manga. And, if this happen there will no new version or episodes of a cartoons.
